Born in 1984, Ondřej Buddeus is a Czech poet, editor and translator. Since 2011, he has published several book projects in a variety of genres (from a poetry collection, to a conceptual and collaborative project, as well as a daily agenda and a children`s book). His works have been translated into several languages. He co-curated the anthology project (2014) on contemporary German, Slovak and Czech poetry and was co-editor of the academic publication and anthology Sorting Out Words: Literature and Conceptual Tendencies 1949–2015. In 2013, Ondřej was awarded the Jiří Orten Prize, he Magnesia Litera Prize in 2014 and The Most Beautiful Czech Book Award for his children’s book Head in Head (with David Böhm).
